The lab-grown diamonds are created through two primary methods: Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT). Both processes replicate the natural diamond-growing environment to result in a gemstone that physically and chemically resembles diamond.

With a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, lab-grown diamonds are equally resistant to scratching and environmental wear as mined diamonds. Typically, they are chemically stable and will not cloud or fade over time.
